Common Questions & Issues
I haven't received my certificate.
Most valuations are completed within 1–2 minutes.
If you do not see your certificate:
- • Refresh your dashboard
- • Check your email (including spam folder)
- • Wait a few additional minutes during peak usage
If it still hasn't appeared, contact support with your Certificate ID.
My valuation seems lower than expected.
Art valuation is influenced by:
- • Attribution support
- • Reproduction risk
- • Condition
- • Market demand
- • Documentation consistency
If the system detects limited evidence, mismatches, or reproduction indicators, it will value the work conservatively.
If you believe a material error occurred, contact us within 7 days and include:
- • Certificate ID
- • Explanation of the concern
- • Any additional images or documentation
Can I update my submission after payment?
Submissions cannot be edited once processed.
We recommend carefully reviewing your details before payment.
Why was my artwork classified as a reproduction or decorative art?
Our system performs image-to-detail validation. If the artwork appears to be an open-edition reproduction, inconsistent with a claimed famous artist, or lacks signature/edition verification, it will be classified and valued accordingly to prevent inflated valuations.
How is the Confidence Score calculated?
Each valuation includes a 0–100 confidence score based on:
- • Image clarity
- • Signature/edition visibility
- • Document consistency
- • Attribution alignment
- • Condition clarity
Camera upload not working on mobile?
- • Ensure browser permission is allowed for Camera
- • Try Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android)
- • If the camera option doesn't appear, use “Upload from Photos” instead
- • Check that your device has a working camera
Can I use this certificate for insurance or legal purposes?
ArtCertify provides an informational resale estimate only — not a formal authentication or certified appraisal. For estate matters, legal disputes, tax donations, or insurance coverage, consult a qualified professional appraiser.
Payment & Refund Policy
Payments are one-time and non-subscription.
Because each valuation generates a custom AI analysis, refunds are generally not issued unless:
- • A technical failure occurred
- • A duplicate charge was processed
- • A material system error is confirmed
Requests must be made within 7 days of purchase.
